Feb. 29, 2008 – Supplemental IRHA Board Mtg
- Linda announced that Hartzell Cobbs will facilitate the panel presentation at the upcoming IRHA HealthCare Workforce Summit on April 10, 2008.
- The Family Medicine Residency of Idaho along with the Idaho Hospital Association are interested in presenting meth education at local level, in connection with the Idaho Meth Project. The first one is scheduled in April (St. Maries, Idaho).
- Linda discussed the draft proposal for a Technical Assistance request to the NRHA to help develop a board orientation manual and provide board training at our October meeting. The TA proposal was discussed and unanimously approved by the board.
- The July 11 board meeting was rescheduled. The board agreed on July 21st, 1-5 pm in Moscow, ID.
January 25, 2008
- The committee confirmed Ryan McAllister as Secretary/Treasurer and elected Mary Sheridan as President-Elect.
- The prior revisions to the bylaws were reviewed and new revisions were made.
- Dave Schmidz presented a summary of phase one of the Family Physician Survey.
- Update/Discussion on Other Activities
- Debbie Green discussed the new design for the Website
- Debbie has one ISU student candidate interested in doing the White Paper Project on a Loan Repayment Program for Idaho.
- Ryan will be attending the NRHA Policy Institute in February.
- There was a discussion of items for the annual membership meeting to take place at the April meeting:
- Introduce officers and board members, bylaws, regional forums, promotion of the website, active participation methods. All will occur at during the luncheon meeting.
- Future board meetings are scheduled for April 9th prior to the biennial conference, and July 21st in Moscow.
- The Idaho Conference on Health Care (ICHC) conference in 2008 will begin on October 22nd. The board meeting will be that evening from 2pm to 6pm, so members can attend the keynote address.
