    We have two upcoming vacancies on the Board of Directors for our board year beginning October 2010.

    We are now accepting nominations for those positions. The nomination process is open through August 25th to all IRHA members.   • Biennial Conference in Two Days!

    Our Biennial Conference and Member Meeting is a great way to connect with other IRHA members and the board of directors. Please join us for some great sessions and networking!

    One highlight of our schedule is     a panel with Idaho Hospital Association’s Steven Millard, Denise Chuckovich of Idaho Primary Care Association, Ron Hodge with Idaho Medical Association, and Paul Leary from the Idaho Division of Medicaid. They'll be discussing the state of rural health in Idaho.

  • More conference details for April 30

    Hi all,

    We've got more details for our upcoming conference to share. Postcards indicating registration is live went out over the last week and we also have the agenda available for download.

    We are very excited about the conference and our current president, Dave Schmitz, has put a lot of effort into our roster of speakers. In particular, our afternoon closing panel detailed below is the result of his hard work

  • Biennial Conference Registration is Live

    Registration for the conference this spring is now live! Thanks to the IPHA for hosting registration.

    The conference and meeting are on April 30, 2010 from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, in Boise at St. Luke's Anderson Center. Registration costs are $35 for members, $50 for non-members, and $20 for students. Please be sure to select 'IRHA member' to receive the member price and conference materials.

  • Pardon Our Dust!

    Hello IRHA members!

    We have been in the process of rolling out a new membership management system, which also gives us the benefit of a front end with many more options than we had before - including some blog posting!

    The first thing you may have noticed are the email reminders for membership dues for the 2010 year. These have been somewhat of a challenge to get set up and we are still ironing out details, so let me assure you, if you renewed your membership, then you are current regardless of additional email you may have seen. Confirmation of payment and other things are coming. Please feel free to leave any suggestions or comments on this post (comments may be left by clicking 'add comment' below) and we will do our best to make this not only a smooth membership process, but also a website that will help further our mission of providing leadership on issues related to rural health in Idaho through advocacy, communication, and education.
